This week’s market is the Phoenicia Farmers Market. Phoenicia Farmers Market welcomes the local community and Catskill Park visitors to shop, eat, and gather in the heart of Shandaken’s hamlets year-round.

The outdoor market is adjacent to the Tanbark Loop Trailhead in Phoenicia, and the indoor market is nestled at the Pine Hill Community Center throughout the winter. No matter the season, it’s a welcoming and joyous place to find talented farmers, artisan makers, live music, and free kids’ activities.

Sundays, Outdoors at Parish Field, Tanbark Loop Trailhead, 16 Mt Ava Maria Rd, May 19 – October 27, from 10am – 2pm.

Indoors at Pine Hill Community Center, 11am-2pm, November 3, 2024 – April 25, 2025

We are a volunteer-led initiative to foster community, stimulate the local economy, and increase access to local food for our neighbors, as well as visitors. We participate in SNAP, Fresh Connect Checks, FMNP programs, and collaborate with existing food insecurity efforts to get more local food into the hands of our most vulnerable residents and collaborate with existing area food pantry programs to get more fresh, local food to residents in need.

Products

15-20 local farmers, specialty food producers, and artisan makers convene to provide access to essential and nutritious foods from across our rich agricultural region.
