Fishing in the Catskills is a favorite family fun activity for residents and tourists alike here in the Catskills. If you are not an avid angler you can always head to Beaverkill Trout Hatchery, in Livingston Manor. The hatchery welcomes visitors for the Fish and Pay Ponds, and a roadside stand selling fresh and smoked trout which is open weekends April to Labor day 8 AM to 5 PM. They offer many types of Trout including Rainbow, Golden Rainbow, Brown, Brook and Tiger.
