13:00 to 15:00
Hancock Town Hall, 61 West Main Street, Hancock, NY
Find out what you can do to take action against this voracious eater and other Catskill invasives. This program covers the Eurasian, or wild, boar — a menace to livestock, crops and farming operations throughout New York State. CCE-Delaware hosts this free, open-to-the-public forum at Hancock Town Hall on April 8. Justin Ganosowski of USDA Wildlife Services explains how to accurately report a sighting. Molly Marquand, Coordinator for the Catskill Regional Invasive Species Partnership (CRISP) talks about Early Detection and Rapid Response (EDRR) covering identification of priority invasive species that are not yet well established in the Catskills.
