Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County & the Broome County Department of Planning for a three-part virtual series for municipal officials, planners and IDA Board members, or any other interested parties. Each of these sessions will cover relevant topics relative to agricultural development and rural development. Each of the sessions will feature content matter experts and actionable tools, resources and information.
A certificate with the appropriate number of credits will be made available to attendees after each session. A recording will be sent out after each session as well.

Session #3: This session will provide an overview of a community’s farm friendly scorecard and how to interpret the results. The presenters will also discuss the role special districts can play in supporting agriculture. We will wrap up with an overview of town profiles and how they can be a tool in understanding the role agriculture plays in your community and accessing resources.
