Biointensive gardening is a method of growing as much organic food as possible in the smallest amount of space. This method is ideal in space-constrained settings, but can also be used maximize resources and effort in bigger spaces. Whether you are a beginning gardener wanting a kick-start in organic food production methods, or you are an experienced gardener considering a biointensive approach to your existing growing practices, this session is for you. The class will be facilitated by horticulture educator Carla Crim, who has been utilizing biointensive practices in home and community gardens for over a decade.
