Horak Farm

Family owned since 1906, our picturesque Shandelee location showcases old and new. In current business since 2014, we sell to local restaurants breweries, retail markets, and at our farm stand located at Stump Pond Road & J. Young Road on top of Shandelee. We grow heirloom vegetables, berries (wild & domestic), fruit (apples, pears, peaches) including old & wild varieties. Seasonally available foraged foods include mushrooms, ramps, watercress & fiddleheads.  Our well-maintained hayfields make high quality small bale herbal & high protein hay for horses & other well-loved livestock.  We sell and ship chipped fruit wood for culinary smoking.  Currently available is aged live-edge, wide plank cherry hardwood 1 and 2" thick, 8-16’ long and as wide as 24”, great for craft, furniture making, & cabinetry. We have a large collection of odd & eclectic cherry pieces for art projects.
