We are raising purebred Romeldale-CVM sheep that are registered with the National Romeldale CVM Conservancy. Currently the breed is on the “threatened” list. The Livestock Conservancy is an organization whose mission is to protect America’s endangered livestock breeds from extinction. The Romeldale -California Variegated Mutant sheep are multi colored and are a sub-category of the century old dual purpose American White Romeldale Sheep.
We rotationally graze the flock on our antique farm pastures in the foothills of the Catskill mountains.
In 2021 one of our fleeces won a blue, first place ribbon in the “fine, natural colored” category at the esteemed New York Sheep and Wool Show in Rhinebeck.
