This week’s market is the  Franklin Farmers’ Market, located in front of Chapel Hall (25 Institute Street, off of Main Street), across from the Franklin Central School.

This is the 17th year of Franklin Farmers’ Market providing a venue for local bakers, craftsmen, and farmers on the lawn of Chapel Hall, which was built in the 1850s as part of the Delaware Literary Institute.

Market is a community effort: hosted by Franklin Stage Company and managed by Franklin Local.

Every Sunday 10 am – 2 pm, until Columbus Day weekend, Sunday, October 8th

  • Open-aired market offering locally made and grown goods.
  • Open rain or shine.
  • Franklin Farmers’ Market accepts coupons from the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program.
  • Live Music planned weekly
  • There is no charge for admission
  • Plenty of free parking

Breakfasts and lunches are offered around the corner on Main Street at The Tulip and the Rose Café and Yokel restaurant.

Products

Vendors from Franklin and surrounding towns will sell fresh produce, veggies, garlic, mushrooms, herbs, flowers, beef, chicken, lamb, pork, eggs, scones, sweet breads, sourdough, crumpets, fresh made pasta, original artwork, leather and fleece, gem stones, hand-felted clothing and accessories, and more.
