Are you looking to add chickens to your backyard this year? Don’t know where to start? If you want to learn about chickens in one day, this full day intensive is for you. With over 10 years of experience in keeping chickens, I’ve seen it all. And I can help you set up the perfect chicken keeping situation.

This is an in-person group event held on my homestead. Class session is 5 hours and covers all things chickens. Registration is required.

What is covered in this class?
1. Raising chicks in a brooder, brooder set up and requirements
2. How to handle chickens
3. Coop set up, run vs free range
4. Food and water requirements
5. Roosters: YAY or NAY?
6. First Aid Kit

Where: class is held outside on my homestead with the chickens. Some of class will take place in the commercial dining room. We will practice social distancing measures and ensure all up-to-date COVID protocols are followed.

Price is $150

What you Get: Not only will you gain valuable knowledge of all things chicken keeping, you will leave with a starter kit to get you on your way to keeping chickens. Class includes a catered lunch, beverages, and supplies.

ALL CLASSES ARE HELD RAIN OR SHINE AND REQUIRE ADVANCE REGISTRATION
