Essential Oil and Herb Class:Have you ever wondered about essential oils and herbs and why they good for you or what to do with them. Well look no more; you can take a workshop at FIT Coalition in Cobleskill NY!!!!

Workshop: March 21^st 1-3 & March 28^th from 1-3, sign up by March 1^st to get early bird special.

Aromatherapy class (Essential Oils) and Herbal Class taught by Erin Ethier, owner of Earthly Remedies. First Workshop/Class will start out covering the basics of Essential oils. We will then move into the popular oils and discuss what their uses and benefits are and how you would use them. We will touch base on some other oils that have great healing properties and benefits but maybe not ones that you are familiar with. You will have the opportunity to make up your own room and body spray OR an essential oil roll-on bottle that you can take home with you. You will learn how to use essential oils in cleaning.

Second part of the workshop/class will focus on herbs. We will talk about herbs that are both native and non-native to our area. Ones that are easy to grow and maybe even some that you have growing in your backyard that you aren’t aware of. All of these herbs have medicinal properties!!!! Come and learn what they are. I will show you how to make an herbal salve that you will go home with as well. You will leave with handouts and recipes.

Topics that will be discussed for herbs and oils will include:

Natural Pain Relief/Arthritis/Swelling/Bruising

Relaxation/Calming/Moods/Depression

Colds/Flu’s/Coughs

Digestion

Sleep/insomnia

Children/Pregnancy

Skin Problems and skin care

The class will cost $55 per person if you sign up for both sessions and prepay by March 1^st. After March 1^st the cost will go up to $65. If you only want to take one of the sessions they will cost $35 a session. (Class size no more than 25, so sign up early)
